Gilded Autumn Tablescape
Every season has it’s merits, but there is something so magical and cozy about fall that I just can’t get enough of. While pumpkins, mums and spicy tones usually take center stage, I wanted to create a more elegant and understated tablescape for a change!
I wanted to make sure to use flowers that are still in bloom and it happens that my dahlias are at their peak! I created this arrangement using only things I found in my garden, making it cheap, quick and easy to re-create when the time comes to replace.
How darling are the little gilded pumpkins?!?
I haven’t met a brass candle stick I did’t love, and I use this mix of family heirlooms and antique store finds all year round. They are equally beautiful during the day as they are glimmering at night.
In keeping with the creamy tones of the dahlias, I chose creamy white ghost pumpkins and placed them on cake stands and and urn for added height and interest. It’s simple touches like this that can really give your table a high end, designer feel.
The gold rimmed glasses were my great grandmothers and I simply treasure them. They make any occasion feel special, and I love incorporating family treasures such as these, especially during the holidays.
Cheers to a wonderful fall!!
